Soup UGC: AI Photos & Video

1. Privacy & Information Collection

To provide the core functionality of Soup UGC, we collect and store basic store information including your store name, primary domain, and contact email. This data is stored securely in our database to manage your account lifecycle and generation history.

2. Shopify Permissions & Data Usage

Soup UGC requests specific permissions via Shopify to function correctly:

• read_products & write_products: To access your product images for AI generation and to save the finished assets back to your product media.
• read_files & write_files: To upload generated assets to your Shopify files library.

All product data accessed is used strictly for generating the AI content you request. We do not share your store data or generated assets with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Billing & Payments

All financial transactions and subscriptions are handled exclusively through the Shopify Billing API. Soup UGC does not collect or store your credit card information or any other sensitive payment details. Usage is billed based on successful AI generations at the rates specified in the app dashboard.

4. Standard Terms of Service

By installing Soup UGC, you agree to the following terms:

• License: You have the exclusive license to use the generated AI assets in your store, for your commercial store operations on Shopify.
• Liability: You own the liability of generated AI assets and not us.
• Restrictions: You may not use the service to generate harmful, illegal, or infringing content. We reserve the right to terminate access for stores violating Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy.
• Disclaimer: AI-generated content is provided "as is". While we strive for high quality, we do not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of generated assets for specific marketing purposes.

5. Data Persistence & Deletion

We maintain generation history to provide you with a Content Library. If you wish for your data to be permanently deleted, please contact us. Uninstalling the app will stop all billing and mark your account as inactive.
